fissara has taken proactive steps to protect its staff and service from the coronavirus. Our Health and Safety committee has conducted an internal risk assessment, concluding our present risk to be as low as is reasonably practical.

To ensure business continuity, teams in countries that have not been affected by outbreaks such as India are being trained and prepared to take over essential tasks if required. Should the World Health Organisation increase its threat level estimation to ‘very high’, all fissara UK staff will commence working remotely and in preventative self-isolation. Staff are presently provided regular updates and guidance.

The fissara HSE committee is continually monitoring government updates. If our risk changes or new information is released by authorities, new directives will be created and implemented immediately.

fissara Receives Northern Powerhouse Investment

It’s exciting to be part of something big.

As part of a government initiative to boost the UK economy, fissara has received £500,000 of government-backed funding to invest in new technology to support the waste, transport, property and engineering sectors.

2020 will see us focus on product development for new and existing customers by improving the functionality of our suite of digital products to help you:

  • Make significant cost savings on admin, paperwork and processes
  • Improve and simplify the management of your mobile assets and on-the-road teams
  • Provide your office staff with a range of tools to be more efficient (and cut costs)
  • Reduce your carbon footprint.

Building on our 7-year history of providing workforce management solutions to clients including O2, TJ Waste, Motorola, Peel Land and Property Ltd and many more, 2020 will see us focus on improving our existing suite of products in addition to a major recruitment drive at our Manchester head office.

The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF), supported by the European Regional Development Fund, provides commercially focussed finance through Microfinance, Debt and Equity Finance funds. NPIF provides over £400m of investment to boost small and medium business (SME) growth in the North of England.

The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund project is supported financially by the European Union using funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020 and the European Investment Bank.


Airwave Solutions extend contract for 4-years

We are very pleased to announce a contract extension for fissara for a further 4 years.

Airwave Solutions, now part of Motorola Solutions (LSE OK3H) have signed a contract extension to continue using and developing fissara. Obviously we are delighted with their decision, which is largely due to the hardwork and dedication of our teams in both Manchester and Portsmouth.

We have been working with Airwave since 2013 initially delivering a secure scheduling and engineering management system that set out to make better use of their mobile workforce, helping them be more efficient and provide a system to deliver top quality service to their customer base. In 2019 we continue to do this and have added a large range of additional services and enhancements to the platform over the last 5 years.

Peel Land and Property adopt Gophix and fissara for end to end property maintenance

“We are extremely pleased to announce that following an extensive trial period and the development of a number new functional enhancements Peel Land and Property Group have incorporated Gophix and fissara into their property maintenance toolkit.”

The solution that has been delivered enables tenants, security staff and property managers to simply capture issues with a property via our Gophix mobile application and subsequently provides the necessary servicing information to engineers, contractors and the property management team. The solution is the first fully digital end-to-end property maintenance system of its kind, paperless and efficient.

All “trouble ticket” information is managed through our new fissara Service Desk module allowing quick triaging of problems and allocation via an intuitive drag and drop workflow to the right engineers with the right skills in an instant. All key stakeholders are able to follow the progress of a trouble ticket on its journey to completion via a number of visual displays showing the status of the job. We also provide a modern set of dashboards for analytics and reporting. The objective is to increase productivity and efficiency when managing property issues by improving business processes and lowering the amount of administration work required to service tenants, ultimately significantly reducing operating costs.

The system utilises our existing fissara operational management platform, which incorporates a continuous improvement roadmap adding new features and technologies as they become available.

Success in Mumbai

It’s only been a short while since we announced our sales expansion into the asian market with our focus initially being in India.

On 13th-14th February our team in Mumbai exhibited for the first time at Udyogbodh 2019 an International Business Conference for Maharashtrian Entrepreneurs. The event took place at CIDCO Exhibition Center, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

Over 1500 business professional attended the conference, with hundreds more visiting the exhibition halls over the 2 days including the Minister of Industries and Minister of Education of Maharashtra state along with other national and international dignitaries.
